..the ever so occasional internet hiatus

Hey Internet! I'm Back!

Every so often it happens, the internet takes a backseat to regular old "real life".

So while i was gone I was touring eastern Canada in search of adventure, some whales and lots of nature. It was one of the funnest trips i've ever been on. The excitment of traveling to a new place everyday was movitating and exhausting, but 3 weeks of living in a van are now past and now i've got a pretty good idea of what lays between my home in Ontario and the Atlantic Ocean.

While on the road I tried to post updates on Twitter to keep my memories in chronological order which is nice when all the moment turn into a mixed up slosh of fun times.

In the next while expect some inevitable "ketchup" posts, but also there are some exciting new projects in the works that i am excited to share once they are ready.

Welcome back to Canada

I have returned home to the great white north and the little village I grew up in.
It's good to be back, there is so much I missed.
Just trying to take it all in, spending time with friends and family and planning out what will be the next step for me while I get acclimatized to the temperature

riding out the last of my australian adventure

I'm not sure what to say about my time in Australia with just about a week left. i think it is still to soon to know how it was, so in the mean time i am trying to soak in as much sun and fun as i can. this past weekend i went camping with some new friends to Wilsons Promontory and finally got to see a little more Australian nature. 

   

  got some chillin' beach time in as well as some swimming

 

every time i took out the camera it got full of sand so unfortunately i don't have any photos of wombats, jellyfish, roos or the amazing marine phosphorescences we swam with in the tidal river at night. the phosphorescence was truely unforgettable. When will i get another chance to swim in warm water of flashing little creatures lighting up with my every movement!?? "what are yous?" "there's so many of them!" "i just really want to drink them!!!"
